7th International Forum on Tourism Statistics
Stockholm, Sweden, 9-11 June 2004

Statistics Sweden, the Swedish Tourist Authority, the Organisation for Economic
Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 7th International Forum on Tourism Statistics to be held in Stockholm from 9-11 June. The International Forum on Tourism Statistics was set up in 1993 by OECD and Eurostat providing a unique platform for regular exchanges of views and experiences on developments related to tourism statistics. 

The 7th Forum will highlight usability, comparability and sustainability of tourism statistics and the link to decision- and policy makers. The five main themes for discussion will focus on Sustainable Development  in Tourism, Information Society and Tourism Statistics, Tourism Satellite Accounts, Consumer Surveys and New Statistical Methods. 

There will be no participation fee. Travel and accommodation will be at the expenses of participants. The only way to register will be through this website. Thanks for your cooperation and welcome to Stockholm.
